Guidelines for photography

Below you will find information about the possibility of photography and video recordings in and around the exhibition area, about drone recordings and limited photo opportunities in the main ring.

Requirements at the venue

  • Hand held equipment only
Do not to block gangways. Cameras, film or recording equipment must be hand held. Monopods and tripods are permitted as long as they do not impede people from viewing the show.
  • Do not enter the show rings
Do not enter a breed or finals ring during any part of the judging or interfere in any way with the judging of the dogs or the running of the show. However, in the breed rings the stewards may ask the judge´s permission for photographs to be taken at the end of the class or when the breed has been judged.
  • Always ask permission to photograph
Do not photograph a dog without consent of the exhibitor and inform the exhibitor of the intended use of such photographs/video and where the obtained material may be published e.g. specific websites and so on.
  • Drone photography
No drones may be operated indoors at the exhibition area. If you wish to obtain permission to launch a photography drone into the air from within the exhibition area, please contact the Press Office for further details. Email: presse@dkk.dk.
  • Flash photography and additional lighting
Filming and flash photography is allowed from outside the rings at all times unless the operation of the camera is actually affecting exhibits. However, if a powerful flash unit is used or it is clear that exhibits are being affected, a ring steward or the judge is empowered to stop such photography.

We ask that you at all times comply with any instructions given by the ring stewards or the main ring stewards.
